My greatest fear

As long as she carries my favourite to the top of a named distant fell and d locks it there to the rusty fence post forever I'm happy. She can do what she wants with the rest of them. It was her money I spent anyway...

I thought my Retrobike purchases were tucked away with the skeletons

BUT for some reason, my paypal purchases come out of my account, but my wife gets an email each time I use paypal, must have been when we first set that paypal up

Wife doesn't know how much my Fat bikes are worth but she knows I hold them with special reverence. I guess if I have a coronary on a hill climb on one it will get converted into another pair of Manolos or ltd ed Ugg boots for her collection

Never quite got the attraction of Ugg boots :?

Me neither. They just look like slobbing around in big slippers to me. At least Garfield slippers were mildly funny for a few weeks

Seriously though... :( This sort of thing does happen and a lot of us are approaching (or past) 50 now...

I know the VMCC have a service for widows of members.

They send an independent valuer or marque specialist to look over a collection and also offer to sell off the collection at correct market rates free of charge.
Of course, this is no good if your collection is salted away in places your wife doesn't know about :D

All the best,

The VMCC service is a great idea. Maybe RB could offer a similar fee charging service for bike appraisals.

Agree, the original UGGS are, shall we say over priced tat, some of their classic boots do look good. Most of them just spend their time in a stacked box though

Bit of a morbid thread. I'm gonna eat a healthy lunch and get out on the bike later :p
