Infinity tubing was just a rebrand of the previous dB tubeset though, so its probably an early frame.

The lx kit is very underrated too I fitted full lx to my courier comp and it performs better than the xt and xtr on my butler.

This is a sound point - the nipper will appreciate that bit more cushioning from wider knobblies over skinnier slicks. That's my experience anyway. My (3 year old) daughter also likes the humming noise from knobblies but that's a separate issue...
