Mountain bikes on slicks thread ??

It's got a flex stem because I had one on it BITD (the bikes been owned from new) - it just wasn't a Ti version BITD

Yes - the point is they are being used!!

debatable - hopefully that Pine Mountian isn't - it's got no brakes!

also the first marin has slicks and a flexistem, to dampen trail buzz no doubt!

Well spotted! It isn't actually being used at the mo - but was used as a commuter for over a year. Photo taken midway through upgrading the brakes......and waiting for the new set to arrive in the post!

tbh, I don't mind mountain bikes with slicks. Some of them look pretty purposeful.

Unless of course it is entered into BoTM. Then it really is sacrilege. :twisted:
