Nice to see some of these still rollin - I've been running one since '95, just put new tires and a drive train on, took one ride on it after and I think it's better than ever. Just noticed 3 cracks in the front between the handlebars & fork though, looking for a new frame however I'm a bit concerned any frame that's 25 years old may also be nearing end of life, going to sell all the parts off it and upgrade I think. If anyone can make use of the parts drop me a line. Several of them were great upgrades, like the Marzocchi Bomber light z.3 shock & Deore XT rear derailleur.
I really liked this rig.

Yup and downtubes too....
( they were more pear shaped to be honest)
I raced Mongoose bikes for a few years and loved them.
