Dirt Disciple
I bought this from the original owner, who purchased it in 1988.
It was originally fitted with Super Record parts. At some point he changed the crankset and derailleurs out for 8 speed triple pieces. It's still running a 7 speed freewheel. The only hardware that I changed, were the shifters. He had Simplex retrofriction shifters on it, which worked great. However, I had a set of Chorus Ergos that a friend overhauled for me.
Frame: 64cm SLX/SP
Fork:
Headset: Record
Stem: XA
Handlebar: Cinelli
Bar Tape: microtex
Brake Levers/Brifters:
Brake Calipers: Super Record
Shifters: Chorus
Front Derailleur: Racing Triple
Rear Derailleur: Racing Triple
Cranks: Campagnolo Racing Triple
Pedals: SPD
Rims: MA40
Hubs: Record
Tyres: Michelin
Saddle: Flite
Seatpost: XC Comp
Here it is, as purchased
After a little cleaning.
