I'd consider adopting this clean looking machine however the advert states no offers.

I'm wondering how the v-brakes stop the bike what with all the decals on the braking surface.

What is actually going on there?

Disc wheels and no rotors. Bitsa assembled by a moron. It's a 1995 IIRC, definitely not 1990.

Ideally there should be a rack on the back to carry an anvil on a rope. Kick the anvil off when you want to stop.
