Marin 1994 Team Titanium and 1995 Ultimate Titanium

Has anyone out there got catalogue details around the 94 Team Titanium and 95 Team Titanium or Ultimate.

I know these bikes existed but they don’t appear in the standard catalogues.

I assume they had special pamphlet or US catalogues only.

Would love to see something more than a grainy picture in the archives.

The regular ultimate is featured in an MTB Pro I have somewhere, there was a poster too…. Apologies it’s not the 95 Ti Ultimate…

So the Ultimate appears in MTB Pro #2 in 1993, not sure if it’s the one you’re looking for - apologies for the smeared text, orange juice on the fingers if I recall correctly

Wow, didn’t know there was an ultimate model. I can’t see in the article but What’s the difference between this and the team titanium?

The Ultimate was a 94 specific build. It was designed to be the lightest of all. Custom coloured marin parts and lightest components of the day.

It was a not in the catalogue but marketed separately it seemed. All yours for £3700.

The 94 frame was built in Sandvik whilst the 95 Team Titanium was built in Taiwan.

In 95 the ultimate was a frame only option;
I presume selling the frames that didn’t sell in 94 with updated 95 decals.

The 95 Team Titanium was an XT catalogue build.

I believe that there was a 94 Team Titanium but not in the catalogue so may have been a genuine team only bike.

Must be a variant as the catalogue Ultimate had different bar, saddle and bar ends.
