Looking to buy a modern frame, but which to choose?

Thanks for that. Looks like I might be selling a lot of stuff tomorrow to raise some funds.

Out of interest, is it a 26er? Not that I am planning on any other wheel size having just bought some nice hoe hubbed 26 inch wheels, but if at some point I fancied a change, would the frame take a larger wheel? Being disc only, it will be all about the tyre clearance right?

26 only i'm afraid....the Pipedream Sirius can run 27.5 but they are £400 and run a tapered headtube.

I'm happy with 26 inch wheels, only discovered 650b existed last night so was just wondering.

Re:

Konaben82 has a 3 month old Cotic for sale at the mo on the 2nd page [can't do links].
P.S. good guy to deal with too.

What forks are you running I.e.do you want a modern aggressive slack hardtail o something a bit more normal?
Cotic souls get great reviews as do kenisis which seem to fit your requirements. Stanton Slackline perhaps?

Been looking at this one, looks incredible for the money:

Doesn't come supplied with a Rear Shock or a Dropper Seatpost as pictured. Frame only, as for reliability my mate is now on his second frame within 12 months as the seat tube snapped just under the Horst Link Suspension. There are also numerous reports on the "net" about the fragility of the frame.

Thanks for the heads up, seems a bit poor for a frame that retails at £1500. Back to the drawing board.
