A friend at the time had a set of the XC ones, only difference I could see was that his had a lot of CNC work on the back of the arms and obviously omitted the word 'Downhill' other than that they were the same.
I have a set of the DH cranks on my retro bike. I love them, but make sure your removal tool is thoroughly engaged before trying to remove them as the threads aren't super strong. Despite being very careful I've managed to partially strip the thread in the LH crank. Exactly as I did in 1999 when I had some on a Marin B17.......
