the build took a turn and is now 4 speed, which is pretty daft but there was a logical train of thought in there :eek:

Thread resurrection, I managed to get Kaiser to part with the frame (Thanks Kaiser much appreciated) which was looking a bit worse for wear so I decided to strip the frame and get it powdercoated since it was almost fully stripped when I got it . The original plan was to strip the bigger Shasta in the picture but is too good to do that. So I am going to build up with old xtr parts (and other parts here and there to make up so not fully original but will be a bike that will be used). Pics will follow as it gets built up

Built up with the project 2 forks until I sort out the brake (steerer not long enough on original fork for this set up) Decals on their way and need to get some new pedals, the rear mech is the only bit I have left from my original shasta. Hope you like it Kaiser
