Was wondering the same, though I care very little. Seems possible he lost money on this deal? If he hadn't alienated himself here, he probably would have made a few quid.

mmm, thought it will gone more than that, look like an outsider got it (I may be wrong) he lost nearly £200 on it as it was sold for £500 a few weeks back by the original seller.

I'm not sure that turned out to be true though Guy. Our friend claimed he paid £350 cash to the original seller, who happened to live just down the road from him. He then removed some parts before putting it up for sale in this form. So maybe he's just about broken even. But he would certainly have done a lot better if he had a good reputation like some people I could name (but don't worry, I won't embarrass them!)

It's just nine tubes welded together with paint on it. In what respect is it worse than a 96 Altitude?

And incidentally, if I had the choice, I would prefer a 96 Altitude to a 96 Hot, but I don't think there's an awful lot of difference between them.
