Early to me would indicate a Merlin frame, which would have Merlin dropouts. The ones on this bike are clearly Sandvik.

A Merlin frame would also have a pressfit BB and a TBG decal.

An early Hei Hei and a Kona Titanium are two very different frames.

Reckon maybe the seller has the date wrong on this, as well as the asking price.

^ What Scott says. To my knowledge, and I'm certainly not claiming to be an expert, Merlin never made a Hei Hei. They were Sandvik from the outset in 1991. The TBG decal that would have been seen on the 1990 Kona Titanium was still present on the Hei Hei for at least the first couple of years production.

Anyway.....did someone get a serial number from the seller yet?

Sorry, I was nit precise enough. I would say an early Sandvik made :facepalm:
Same dropout as my MCMahon and rear cable stop instead of a Dog Collar.
