Picked this up a couple of weeks ago as it looked worth saving. It was in a poorly state but it's tidied up pretty nice.
Worst bit was the stuck seat post but it eventually came out!
Don't know much about Perks other than what I can find on the net but I'm a sucker for a cheap lightweight - seems a very nice frame - 531 Competition - all up weight is 22lbs.
Apparently John Perks was a Falcon team rider in the 60s, then ran his own bike shop and built the frames himself.
I think its late 80s early 90s.
It's just passing through as my days of drops have long passed.
Posting just for interest.
