We wasn't asking for a fully funded holiday with 5k bikes, I was just after a few bits to get me going and figured if people was gonna chuck why not recycle

It seems to be working. I recently upgraded to a Garmin 800. If you can get one, the road version would massively aid in navigation. I was aiming to do 70 miles a day and basically converted my old MTB. The Saracen Kili Flier Comp (1990) was ideal as it came from the short top tube ma-hoosive stem era. With a short 135mm stem it is the perfect distance cruiser.
