Is it an Orange or a lemon? Help needed identifing please.

I agree with Brock and Sinnerman, 89 Clockwork, not seen one though with the twin downtube bottle cage mounts though

The wishbone/seatpost intersection is clearly higher up the tube on the o/p's bike, different again to the illustrated early clockworks

Think I'd do as you mention. Get the forks painted and use the same colour to touch up the frame. Deore group set would look sweet on that. :cool:

I've made a start, forks are prepped, dug some bits out of the shed & have aquired a few bits from my local tip whilst doing a run for the missus :)
