ICONOCLASSIC 2015 AFTERMATH

Re:

Was better than expected , great selection of bikes !

The GT's rocked !

I'll be there next year for sure maybe with the trials bike if it ever gets finished

Re:

Great weekend meeting faces new and old
Thanks for all your hard work Tom and big shout out for Mrs Tom too.
Excellent ride out on Saturday with John showing off the impressive Warwickshire terrain and nice extra loop around the Temple / Castle with Gil on the way back
Chuffed to bits to win something in seven years of building beautiful bikes up.
I have attached a few pics of the day taken by Mrs Cosmic.

Re:

Can we have a caption competition for this one?

file.php

I'll start:

Harry Crumb: "Rampy, do you know a fork brace when you see one?"
Rampage: "You hum it Harry, I'll soon catch on."

Sorry, I'll get me coat.

Re:

Before it got too busy I thought I’d take a few snaps,

sorry if I’ve missed a few out but I did try and capture the majority of exhibitors’ pride and joys…. However not everyone had set up.

For those who never made here’s a small taster (Sorry for not clipping any of them)

And then for something Different ..... its suspension but not as we know it ! just screamed to be ridden

Should have taken his name as I can’t remember who he was now…. Does anyone recognize this picture

Well he was in it (7th from the left on back row)

He had the most amazing selection of old photo’s…… sadly a lot were lost on me
Anyone recognise these two young bucks lol ? this was just hiding in a pack of 50+ photos all of the same era

Splatterpaint having a sort through some of them

Had a lot of early memorabilia that he’d kept

Anyway back to the bikes, hopefully someone took his contact details as he has a ton of pictures and memorabilia with him, a real source of info...and to be honest one that should be archived as it was 100% early British MTB history

Rampage The King of Anno & Fabrication turned up with this

^^^^^ All that was missing on ths stem was a decal “Somewhere in Galaxy far far away..”

It’s a Ringle cage, but not as we know it.

Rampage & Danson

Captain Cosmics’s entry’s

Then Came the Gio collection….

Someone brought an Old Raleigh

The Browning front end !

Muddy Fox…

One Nice Pace…Mr Tom

And then a guy turned up riding this, his own hand build frame

Best In Show

Retro Ride Home

1 x 1980’S 7 Series Volvo with room in the back

Re:

Re:

Great day out, bigger and better than last years, and hopefully next years be even bigger still :D
nice to catch up with friends and to make new ones :D

Tom
I'm sorry I missed saying goodbye and thanks to yah, and also your scaring your wife by tapping on the window of your old shop when she was deep in conversation on the phone.
Hope the fruits of your labours out weighed the effort as it would be a shame to loose the annual tribal gathering now its just got going.

did anyone picked up my Camera case that was next to an old deck chair that I brought
left to get my wheels for the ride home and when I came back the railings were gone along with my case..

not fussed on the deck chair but the case was a present :?

Well done Mr Cosmic with taking top spot, a deserved winner..

And Al, if you weren't such a nice guy I'd mug yah in a flash (even if you are a well hard Ex Manc) for that KHS.. its so bonkers I love it

Fantastic job there Mr Spud. Lovely photos and detail shots of some of the weird and wonderful technology that never made it.

Great to see Grahams Cleland collection as well. Perhaps not as pretty as some of the others but significant nonetheless IMHO.

If only Warwick was a bit closer.......

Re: ICONOCLASSIC - UK'S LARGEST DISPLAY OF PRE-'95 MTBS!

Some amazing bikes there - many dream bikes from BITD.

Hopefuly next year I can get over from Sweden for the return of this meet :)
