Stabilizers are deadly when you're used to bikes without... as I found out to my cost at the first corner when doing the old, 'daddy rides daughters bike in hilarous fashion'. Can't lean the bike properly.

Bizarley she just decided, after about an hour with stabilizers, that she didn't want them; so I unbolted and off she went, no problems. And I was looking forward to the whole, 'running along holding the hood' routine as well - swine of a girl.
