It still looks amazing even after 28 years of never seeing another one since i last seen one in Denton Cycles.
Massive thanks to Vinevo for helping me out to finally own one, cheers mate :xmas-big-grin:
Congrats on your lovely choice Spanky and i'm not sure if i'd of guessed right before raiden did as that fork sticker lead me astray  ...
As for the fox that's really coming together very nicely now and it's a shame i haven't got the parts you need as i'd of let you have em for postage ..
Saying i've got all the Deore parts polished up i thought i'd do a mock build just to see how she looks.
Those wheels are on just to move the bike around i've got some silver RM20 rims and black Deore hubs to be built up.
What parts do i need!
Some lovely condition Deore MT60 crank arms with the Deore lettering still on them.
Going to put a new headset on it.
A new set of jockey wheels and barrel adjuster for the rear mech.
Deore snap your shins beartraps
And the finishing touch will be the correct Pine Mountain sticker for the toptube.
Now to take it all apart again to do some cleaning and polishing
Tell me about it mate it's took me 28 years to finally own one
I'll keep you in mind Fekko when i'm on my death bed that you wanted first dibs on the Marin
Finished finally decided on the final spec of the bike.
I went with the M550 Deore LX front mech and a short cage Deore DX rear mech.
And saying i needed a chainring i bought a full chainset instead, killed two birds with one stone though.
The chainrings were used on this and the arms had perfect Deore lettering so they'll be going on the Marin
Can't wait to take this on a blast from the past ride threw Hollywell and on the lighthouse track, well what's left of it now.
