Thanks, were the frames for these UK hand made as with the other models?

Yes I believe the steel ones were up until 1998. The Aluminium ones (from 1993 onwards) were shipped in from the Far East

Thanks I have to agree. It does look well made and it's lasted 30 years and the frame still looks pretty new. Even where the odd bit of paint has come off (rear dropouts) the steel looks very good so Reynolds 500 must be pretty good even if a bit heavy, I'm over 15st and there's no way I'm aging that well!!

Put some pics up when its done, I think the paint job is great. I have a soft spot for early 90s mtb paint jobs though.
