If it came with "6spd and cantis" then that would date to 1989 or before.

XTR M950 (96 on), v brakes and bombers would not suit if that was the case <confused>

Perhaps 6spd is a red herring and someone had fitted an old wheel......

Was that you making a hope Ti glide axle from scratch or turning it down from 135 to 130?

I made the axle from aluminium bar. It Is the first thing I made on my lathe and has taken about 3 hours so far!

Be interested to see how it turns out, I need a 135 bulb axle and I know "the ken" on here is looking for a replacement for a rare (not rear) front hope axle....

Custom longer Hope rear axle now finished and custom end nut things. Axle just needs cutting to the correct length.
