You did not just cut a piece of that CF motorcycle fender just to glue it on the I-drive shell did you? (rhetorical question, I'm pretty sure you did)
Not questioning your methods, but wouldn't it be easier to just sell the motorcycle fender on e-bay and use a part of the profits to just buy a piece of large diameter CF tube and pocket the rest of the money? You can find thin walled CF tube in a large variety of sizes on Alibaba fairly cheap...

The fender was cracked, fixed, then cracked again, it's the reason why !
But it's a true Ducati Corsa fender, not a chinese one !
I use a professional glue tape, it's very strong !

I see, was wondering why somebody would cut up an expensive looking motorcycle fender to put a strip of CF under the BB shell.
