GPS/Map Apps for phones

I use

Copilot for SatNav (but Google Navigator does the trick)
Google Earth/Maps for general mooching/searches
Cardiotrainer for ride tracking
OruxMaps for tons of different layers included the OS maps.

sportstracklive - paid for, worth every penny. amazing app especially as i went and got the bluetooth HRM

mapmyride - free version. use it to move my maps over to keep a record online, rather than the app

multimap - free, can cache maps offline whe you're at home and have wifi access including OpenCycleMap, although recently it's had trouble with that

GPSies have an android app

and finally google maps

Google Tracks is ok for recording stuff, I tried to us the free OSmaps one but it is a bit crap.

Mapmyride is on android now.

I use Cyclemeter on my iPhone - uses GPS for mapping, gives you all sorts of useful info about speed, distance etc. and once you save a route you can compare rides. I think the newest update can connect to certain cadence meters etc. Not bad for £3 IMO
