I remember fisrt big ride with my shinny new vetta Sl Ti back in 94, some bit of wire went in the spokes on a DH, over the bars, ripped out 8 spokes and ripped the saddle out of the rails.
Got it back together, but it forever had a list to it, still rode it for many a year, great saddle. Just put a NOS one on my GT.
Of course I put a SL cro mo on my 1st bike at the end of 92, finished the first ride, lent it up against the wall to wash it and it fell over just enough for the nose to scrape the corner of the brickwork, nice big tear in it, devastated... still have that saddle somewhere.
