Hello. I think it's time for the truth about my lime-purple TCR 1.
So I suppose it was around 1993-1996 when I bought the bike new in the bike shop.
I decided not to buy the carbon wheels. Indeed: expensive and not perfect for optics. 500 USD was the price.
So I paid 1.650 USD for the bike with Ultegra and shoes.
Apparently it is the first bike with a descending tube (no more horizontal) and Laurent Jalabert rode it, also in the Tour de France imho
After this bike came the yellow with grey Giant TCR 1 which had way more success and I was so jealous and unhappy
that I did not see my bike on TV anymore. I love the colours and put orange handle bar straps and had orange tires (original) on it.
I rode it around 7.000 km and still has its first tires.
I had 2 times noise in the handlebar which got solved by the shop with some grease.
Until I saw a Colnago from Rabobank, I considered my bike the most beautiful race bike ever
