Yes it did feel a bit odd at first . Went sprinting up the road , forks bouncing a lot and trying to get the front wheel rolling. Now I've upped the damping its a bit better , but I do try to stay in the saddle when going uphill . You do tend to notice the wheel size otherwise .
Also swapped bars and stem from earlier ones pictured in the thread . Maybe that makes a difference as most people I know use massive bars on theirs .
I just prefer narrow ones for singletrack sections , and on the initial ride , found that I was naturally putting my hands closer so there was an inch either end of the 650mm bar not being used .
Hence putting the narrower flats on it .
