I'm torn.. I like both!
It's great to get a frame back from the paint shop (especially when the finish comes out just how you imagined it!) or to see how the sum of a bunch of beat-down parts can build up to a bike that looks worn-down from some hard riding on a '91 vintage trail - but there's also something I really like about NOS bikes (components especially)!
It might be to do with the fact that these are the parts I wanted but couldn't afford years ago - nice to have them in my hands in the same condition that I'd seen them in the magazine ads (which is, after all, how I remember all these fine things!).
