I'm all for it full stop. The benefits out-weight the nimby objections and the environmental concerns for me.

It was inevitable it was going to happen. The companies and government are too invested not to.

I'm not aware (but expect to be challenged!) of an online petition which was successful. From the Iraq War protests, to Boaty McBoatface to any number of spurious kneejerk rubbish has been ignored. So what's the point?

We've had coal, we've had oil. Now we have gas. The idea that a country like ours is just going to leave it down there is naive at best.
 
Dig a little deeper and you'll find that that video is actually taken on a river that is known for having large methane deposits that often bubble up. Easy to make the vid, say it's due to fracking and the internet goes mad.

Not a big fan of fracking but am a big fan of truth.
