Wanted Fox rear shock

I can't find the guide I used, there are a tonne on Youtube, this is for a slightly different model but the basics are pretty much the same : if you have a good rummage on youtube I'm sure you can find it but just to give you an idea:

If you've done what is shown on the video that you've posted, this is not a rebuilt, just basic air can maintenance. From what I understand, les_xr2's shock need a full rebuild, including nitrogen refill. That's an other story ...

Yes, what he said ^^. There are the air spring / chamber seals which are reasonably serviceable for many users, but the damping circuit is nitrogen charged on some shocks. The damping circuit servicing is much more involved and a specialist job due the tools involved.

@les_xr2 old Fox Float shocks are 'easily' serviceable by a suspension specialist, because the modern Float CTD/DPS shocks still use the same seals (or at least most of them) which means that you have no problem to get the seals (you can't say the same for most of 10+ years suspensions...).
You may think that the price you will be charged for the rebuild is too high for such an old item, and that you can find an other one for less. That's right. But there's 90% chances that the 'cheap' ones you will be offered will indeed need a service anyway .. (except if they did have a service in the last couple of years, but in that case the price won't be that cheap probably..).
So to send it to a suspension specialist is probably your best option. Not all of them will accept to service it, but I'm sure that you can find one in your area that is passionate enough to give it a try.

(I'm running a suspension workshop and from time to time I have some requests to service old suspensions, and the only one that I accept to do are the Fox ones, because I know that I have a very good chance to get them back in order without spending hours and hours on them ..)
