Carbon- 1994 Look as used by the ONCE team.
Alu - 1990 Team Z TVT bonded aluminium TdF with Camapgnolo Cote D'aune Group set.
Ti - 1994 The first LeMond Ti frames with the blue fade to natural Ti, Dura Ace.
Steel - A proper Tommy Simpson replica.


Off Road:

Carbon - That Radical in Richards Ultimate Bicycle book. (is it a Trimble???)
Alu - Pace RC200 (Got that one!)
Alu again - 1991 Klein Attitude in white/pink/green
Ti - 1992 Merlin (before they went oversize)
Steel - Roberts DOGS BOLX in white with Campag. :cool:

Tell that to All of the motor sport teams out there. And all the high performance super car manufactures. Plus the amount of bending a fishing rod goes through with out breaking, would a steel or Allu withstand that treatment?
