many years ago i was riding along a canal toe path.
and there were anglers dotted along the stretch i was riding along.
amazingly one of the anglers managed to hook my glasses while casting off.
and they even managed to get them in the canal.
don't have this problem since my laser eye surgery.

Lucky as that!
I fish and years ago on a public park lake i went to cast, on the back cast I hooked into a geezers neck :shock: barbed hook too fooookin ouch! I used forceps on him like a fish to get it out no choice, thought he was gona drown me but he was ok even gave me a fag haha kids ay....

Pretty lucky really, could have ended up with an eye on the end of your hook.
