The A2M is a decent non-suspended bike.

Before the sale to Ross in 1996, the bike was cro-moly steel and a nice ride. After, it was changed to a 7005 aluminum bike, with roughly the same dimensions, providing a stiffer feel.

LX components and Barracuda branded seatpost, bars, ends, etc. Good value for the $. One could definitely use it as a frame to build upon.

Thanks; it does help. I was wondering when they switched to front suspension and 7005 frames- you clarified that :)
