Dawes Raw Nerve. Finished (for now) pics p4.

It's funny seeing yours. I've never even considered to do it up, but looking at your photographs brings some good memories flooding back.

I've got a Cannondale M2000 sitting in the same shed.

First proper ride out on it today and some decent sunshine!
Was a real nostalgic trip, like meeting up with an old friend after many years, it was so fast, stiff and agile, I'd forgotten just how good these bikes are.
The mutt had a ball as well, she kept up for most of the way!

So that was that. First and last ride on a bone stock raw nerve.
The whole ride I was paranoid about shredding the minty Conti Supercross tyres so as soon as I got home, off they came and on went a pair of similar looking double fighters. The supercross' are now hanging in a dark wall of the garage for another day.

Tomorrow I'll be removing and boxing up the m650 low profile cantis and fitting these:

My old 1990 raw nerve had them and I can honestly say they are far superior and not too far removed from the spec of this bike so I'm going with it.

If I ever come across a leather covered Vetta turbo gel I'll fit that too, but for now that's it.

Happy days
