With a little more foresight, could Dawes have cornered the UK MTB market?

That letter is an excellent reminder of how the UK has so easily slipped into.....well......comparative blandness.

I wonder if a Chinese factory writing and asking to manufacture Dawes bikes at 23% costs would have sparked anything in Mr Allison
