So as some may know i lost the plot and nearly sold this but after some sleepless nights i came to my senses, how on earth could i possibly sell my absolute dream bike 😳
So nows the time to start building a dream for me, my very own prototype Vulcan just like in the photo.
This will be a slow build because i want this thing perfect 👌 and there's gonna be alot of head scratching to figure out what parts etc it had. So far all i have is the frame and some pink Tange Prestige forks off my 88 Killi Flyer and a dream.

So whats the Plan....???
Well the first bit will be to dig out the Killi Flyer at the weekend and get those Tange Prestige forks off. A few people have gave me names off here to contact about getting the steerer extented to fit the headtube, so it'll be a case of getting in contact with them and see what can be done.
Also MrOx kindly got in contact and mentioned that Dave Yates is on the Facebook page regarding British built bikes and has helped in the past about his Vulcan. So i'll definitely be getting in contact with him about what parts was on the prototype because although i can see what some of the parts are i'm guessing with the rest, also i might be able see if he still has the prototype and get a photo of it,i'd love to see that again.
I'll also be looking for someone who can do a perfect paint job because i can't have anything other than that for it and after seeing the picture of Daves face painted on that other Vulcan, i've got to have that on aswell.

Might be of interest Spanky, turned up on a Social site some time ago, sorry I don't remember where.

Nice one Andy that's gonna come in handy instead of trying to zoom into this photo and everything going fuzzy. Was it for sale (i wouldn't have thought Dave Yates would sell the prototype) or was it just from an article on the bike.
Seeing that bike just makes me want to own it so so much,i'd love it in the collection.
