i like the part in the video, where his mum comes into his room & tells danny to come & get his tea, and stop messing about with his bike.
i think we can all relate to that situation.

What a piss boring world it would be if we all sat smugly agreeing with each other. It is hardly pissing on anyone's bonfire to express a different view, I am not suggesting anyone should be less than amazed at Danny's skillz.

Conflating the ability to jump a bike on and off an endless variety of obstacles with the kind of soulful creative expression demonstrated by the likes of Hendrix and Beck is unforgivably naive though.

also the part where he jumps on the twister pointer was brilliant.
i'm guessing if danny did play the guitar he'd choose a paul reed smith or possibly a gibson les paul.
definitely not a strat though.
i never tire of watching danny.
a true legend.

i'm sure all the major guitar players have picked a strat up.
nice weapon of choice.
i still prefer the sound of a paul reed smith.
but when it comes to acoustics, the taylor is king.
all this guitar talk has got me itching to play again.
i think i'll dig my martin out & play money for nothin.

If we take the analogies to their clichéd conclusions the likes of your MacAskill would probably play an Ibanez.

Steve Peat would more likely play a Les Paul.

Hans would be on Strat, the all rounder that he is.

Missy would be on the bathroom floor tooting off a broken mirror.
