Tyres from Holland Vredenstein / France Michelin / Germany Continental before you even get out of Nothern Europe
If you think about diversity / worldwide popularity of the sport I don’t think this will so much of a challenger as you think, the hardest part will be be decideding upon what parts to take from what’s on offer
It’s not as if an MTB takes that many parts - unless you have 4 different cant’s / 2 different brake levers and so on buts that’s nutz....
Cool idea and would love to see where this goes and the choices you make along the way
But what frame are you hanging the MTB world fruit on ?

A different take on it would be a bike built entirely from parts gifted from around the world - a Retro Bike international collaboration
