Colnago Master MTB

Re:

Fantastic job , well done ! Who did you get to refinish the frame ? Didn't think anyone is interested in rechroming an old frame.

Re:

Thanks, I got the job done by the Colnago Benelux distributors'(Codagex) recomended refurbisher, Unlimited colours.nl

Re:

I removed the derailleur guard, wrapped the drive side stay with an old inner tube, and removed the nos pedals for used beater ones, bars and saddle had slipped a little in this pic, got better fit now

Love the color, love the polished details, love the build. But the rims... I feel that they are too... fat?
I know, its a bit late, but would you try to fit a "normal" sized front wheel with a silver rim? Just to see the difference?
:D

i'm awaiting some other wheels with a lower rim height, but i'd like to use panaracer 26x2.1 so the tires won't be that skinny I'm afraid

i used the wheelset from my recently aquired Campagnolo Record O R gruppo, so hibs not correct, i have nos camapgnolo rims and olympus hubs to complete, now I have a truing stand won't be long, these are mavic ceramic rims with tioga psycho tyres
