This is the upcoming build I’ll hopefully have done for summer.

I ride road more and more now and my current Supersix is great but I’ve longer for some Italian flare.

I almost went with another supersix but wasn’t convinced on a couple of points. I knew I wanted either a Colnago C64 or a Dogma. The issue with the Dogma is that they are still made in the far east even though the price is high and everyone has one.

A deal was offered by a bike shop I’ve bought from in the past on a Colnago C64 in this stunning Frozen silver paint. I’d been saving a while for this build so thought why not.

It’s the last of the C64 lugged frames which is kind of special. One concern is the paint is very easily chipped so before it’s built I need to have a protection film applied.

For the wheels I’ve gone for FFWD Ryot with DT 240 hubs and the new EXP ratchet.

Even though the frame isn’t aero , I’ve seen a few builds with deep carbon wheels and they all look good and build into a fast all round bike. Before the team moved to V3RS a C64 was good enough for them so wasted on me.

That frame looks amazing. This has the feel of a bike that will go like the clappers. Those tyres are some of the fastest around. So far, very nice.

The paint is truly lovely I agree

I think it will be a good all round bike with a lean towards partial aero. From all the reading I did it seems they ride like a magic carpet but are also a race bike.

Had a very quick mock up with the bits so far.

Looking forward to seeing this built! Be interested to see saddle and tape colours - something subtle? Or something contrasting?
