Claud Butler titanium(?) info/identification

Hey all

I have been offered a beautiful looking frame and wondered if any of you chaps could help confirm what it is and maybe give any other history/info? I can't seem to find anything online....

It is a Claud Butler Titanius, that is all I know.... Is it worth a punt?

Re:

Some nice details on that frame, I like the top of the seat tube!
Quick Google only brings up a couple of these frames for sale/sold, I'm as interested to know more about it as you are!

Nice..... not seen one before, I’d say post 1994 judging by the graphics and head badge font (changed late ‘94). It’s not in the ‘95 catalogue, so either as short run late ‘94 or from ‘96-‘97.
They were still assembling in Brigg, Humberside back then, but I suppose the cut lugs/details might have come from Italy?

Quite possibly, but only in a good way of course :)

I didn't even know these existed, every day (and night) is a school day! Hopefully the OP can shed some more light on this...

Unfortunately the seller has no more information..... He owns a bike shop in Osijek, Croatia (I live out here) and the frame has been in stock for over 10 years.

I've asked for a photo of the bb markings.... Hopefully might get something from that.

I'll probably buy it anyway just not knowing what it is will make a true restoration difficult.
