Chinese bargains

Chinese carbon is isn't too good to be true at all. Most of the cost of a branded frame is the fact you're paying the shop, then a distribution company, then the marketing company that pretends they make bikes, and then for a paint job, and then finally the frame itself...

Cutting out the middleman is great, bike companies thought they were geniuses putting people out of work and getting asian factories to do the same for pennies, but like all suit wearing greedy gits they're too short sighted to realise those same factories have no scruples about cutting them out of the deal the moment the blueprints are handed over - something that's impossible when the factory floor is in walking distance of the office. Serves them bloody right.

Plus when you get them unbranded there's none of the proper ugly stickers and paint jobs bikes have these days. Black on black on black, there, sorted
