CARTRIDGE BOTTOM BRACKETS, brilliant aren't they

XTR cartridge Hollowtech II bottom bracket:
unconventionally the bottom bracket AXLE is part of the crank (drive side), the bottom bracket consists of the bottom bracket shell cups and an AXLE sleeve, the drive side crank fixed axle passes through the drive side bottom bracket cup centre hole, then the non-drive side crank bolts on the drive side crank fixed axle:

Lots of cyclists are riding these.

Hollotech BB's?

Those Hollotech BB's and CRANK's surely many people will not be keen on this new FANGLED innovation!

Dragnetti never was one to change with the times though, must be a loss to Wella.

To some it may appear to have a passing resemble (Look similar) to an old style bmx 1 piece crank, that many would regard as little use (For good reason) as a toilet roll dispenser. But at least the bottom bracket looks straight forward from the message & picture above (2 BB cups and a sleeve).

Luckily Deacon's toilet design wasn't popular with many UK family friendly pubs and more risqué nightclubs.

The picture mentions 70mm bottom brackets, these are 'Italian' and both cups thread on clockwise. They are also a slightly larger diameter.
Some road bikes use them... given that it's a road chainset in the picture

TV Channels ~ Conspiracy Theory

Ok this is loosely about bikes (Alot), and nothing to do with me (Well maybe something):

Tv channels their names, vowels/slang and symbolism: about MTB's!:

BBC1 & BBC2: (Bottom Bracket Cups? L/H & R/H, well they are DIFFERENT!)

ITV: (HEADSET, what can I knock the HeadSet cups out With, a flat blade screwdriver? I don't want to chip the headtube though)

CHANNEL 4: (A frame that has/needs BB and Headset, hence fit some CRANKS & FORKS. See were I'm coming from? 4 entries/exits.
283413_241552042534852_100000401736733_782728_3058019_n.jpg

CHANNEL 5: (Now just need to put some WHEELS, on it, well wheels ends with S, and S lookslike a five)

So what are all the other channels about. Perhaps actually getting out of the house, riding the MTB round some countryside. Hazard a guess the most ridiculous advanced chaos theory all over the world for every second.

You were doing fine until the last bit about tightening and loosening bbs. Right hand side is tightened anticlockwise - left clockwise; as illustrated by the pic directly above.
6/10

NO. YOU'RE WRONG. WHAT I SAID IS CORRECT!

"ALSO IN A TOPIC ABOUT BOTTOM BRACKETS, this is worth mentioning when fitting/removing BB's:
~ DRIVE SIDE (R/H): TIGHTEN & LOOSEN AS NORMAL (i.e: Tighten = Clockwise. Slacken = Anti-Clockwise)
~ NONE DRIVE SIDE (L/H): TIGHTEN & LOOSEN OPPOSITE of NORMAL (i.e: Tighten = Anti-Clockwise. Slacken = Clockwise)"

I think you're getting confused about which way round to turn.
(IE: What if you're trying to turn the wrong way, you think this is stiff, but surely it will come loose with brute force, in a minute....)

sorry dude you are wrong. drive side is l/h thread non drive is standard.
i take out between 5 and 10 bb's a day at the recycling centre.

These infrequent postings of inane rubbish are easily my current favourite thing about Retrobike. Don't be disheartened that a fundamental aspect of your post was factually inaccurate; this is the internet, after all.

I look forward to your next topic. Please could you include some random, loosely relevant clipart? That always spruces up a presentation.

It's just to be juvenile........

Right! Whatever you say! What a clever pun!

What are the Matrix photos about? Just for fun, to be juvenile and antagonistic, no real purpose what so ever.

Still, the Matrix Photos?:

Well something you know is there, but you can't touch or see it, perhaps something you haven't done for a while.

Perhaps it is something easy to do, but complicated to put into words, or vice versa Something complicated to do but easy to put into words.

Or it looks knackered but it's ok or vice versa it looks ok but it's knackered, etc, but never often in a good way, etc (How did that happen, what keeps happening here, lets all talk out of our arses, and talk about utter bollox, etc).

Perhaps there will be the obligatory unseen complications, aspects you haven't anticipated, and perhaps some very unwelcome interruptions, or some undesirable unnatural irritating aspects. Like rain inside, you know it isn't possible, this wouldn't happen naturally, but there is some obvious plausible annoying explanation, sprinklers.
