Wonderful frame, love the lines beautiful colour and scheme.
Really love it! and they're rare as hens teeth.

Re:

Bit more done today.
Mudgards added . Brakes fitted and set up .Vintage Dia Compe fitted as they work well with their new classic levers.
Base layer of top bar tape applied . Whole covering will be green cloth .
Still debating which bar end shifter to use .I have Campag and Suntour .Whilst Campag are more period the Suntour are better made. You do not have to take it apart to fit a new cable .Plus they are ratchett tpye .Going for 27x! 1/4 wheels at moment .Fitted with some nos specialized touring turbos at 27x1.1/8 as they are fairly narrow section .

The Italian bands are not a Carlton item but i thought they went with the model name

I will take a picture in daylight tomorrow .
Does any one have any white rubber cover for Suntour bar end shifters ? I have some for down tube ones but they are smaller .

Thank you for all your comments . Still chewing the wheels over . Now looking at Campag Record L/F on 27" Weinmann rims.

Stunning! Love the contrasting cables and bar tape.
Naturally I've a bias for the bike without mudguards - but it's yours, and to be honest it looks fantastic regardless.
