I have found someone who can fix it for a lot less. So it will be heading down to Vernon Barker's as soon as I save up the money after picking up and paying for my Colnago Tecnos to be resprayed in utter gorgeousness. I've had it from new, frame was quite tired after almost 20years of use, and it will shortly be home looking splendid. Then the Carlton will get its turn. Quite cross as I bought a new Ribble Audax frame to replace it, which had I looked around a bit more immediately, could have been avoided.
