Rare and hardly used Cannondale CAAD 8. This is the last of the USA handmade frames and a collectors item. Serial number puts is in the late 2007 production
series and one of the last 50 bikes to be issued with Veloce. The bike has covered around 350 miles from new. It was used in Boston MA for one season then stored
for years. 1 owner from new. I rescued it and after cleaning off 5 years worth of scum and grime and servicing it it's come up lovely. Usual transit/shipping/storagemarks but overall excellent.

The US made frames are now coming up on Retro Bike etc for very good money, the USA Veloce issued in black seems to have run for 423 units only before production went East. This one still has the safety sticker
on it!
I have a CAAD4 and CAAD5 Saeco, both are still perfectly competitive bikes.
Mrs M is not going to abide another classic 'Dale in the shed and we are moving so I'm raising some cash.

Cannondale CAAD4 USA Handmade. 56cm.
The Yellow one with Cippolini Fizik Arione in Yellow to mark his little jaunt in the jersey. This is a 2000 (I think). Tiagra 9spd with ITM/Deda kit. Time Carbon forks. Still a competitive weight and accelerates like a whippet. Has been a roller bike for the last few years and not really used much before that. Is in immaculate condition. Saw a red one go on Retrobike for 725 to a US buyer last year. All new cables and outers.
Pedals not included and will come with Lithions, not the roller tyre.. £550.

The retro bikes:
Dawes '55' 56cm Reynolds 535 butted tubing. Suntour Luxe Group with Weinman brakes & UK made finishing kit. Everything works A1 but the paintwork needs some TLC. The 55 was made from 1978 to 1981 and only issued in the USA. It is not a touring bike and was designed to challenge the race brands. It failed miserably as after export and US competition taxes etc it cost twice as much as the equivalent Schwinn. Only around 390 were made, all in blue with Luxe groups. It would make a good winter bike, fixie or SS or you could restore it. Eroica anyone?

Huffy Causeway, 1997. US issued beach cruiser in S/M. Works fine but been a student hack of my sisters in Boston until this summer. Would strip and spray into a cool S/S beach bike. £65
Raleigh Kellogs Pro Tour 58.5cm (56.5 modern fit) - Reynolds double butted and lugged English Beauty with Shimano ST kit. Fair condition, works A1. £150.
Triumph Traffic Master 1979 steel lugged in Medium. Sturmey 3 speed. All works fine, needs a good clean and service. Made in Coventry for my Grandads firm and a delivery bike, sat in the barn for 18 years, I have 80% refurbed it, tyres etc all good, just needs cosmetic love.
