"What utter drivel & nothing more than that. My years of excellent feedback as a buyer speaks for itself. Fraudulent my bottom. I want nothing for nothing. Absolute clown's you lot. The pictures speak for themselves. šŸ¤”

"Whilst we are keeping records!!! I'm taking this frame to a specialist aluminium welder tomorrow morning. He will advice me if this severe & dangerous damage can be rectified. If it can be. I'll pay for the subsequent work myself. Providing it isn't to expensive. If it is to expensive šŸ«° it'll be in the post next week."

hope this "Specialist" aluminium welder knows his thing about bikes and will hopefully give him the very hopefully embarrassing news that theres nothing wrong with his frame

I think as others have said, stop communicating.
I also like the bit about feedback - itā€™s years since sellers could leave buyers negative feedback so not relevant. He could be doing this all the time and getting away with free/discounted stuff.
The real giveaway will be when he asks for a partial refund. At this point I usually just tell them to open a case and send it back.
They never do.

Can't wait for the specialist aluminium welder to realise how gullible he is, charging him for a full rear triangle replacement with non-crimped tubing to ensure maximum grinding

Hi Good evening. Had grandchildren all day. Just had chance to check this good! How can this be classed as one slight pressure "Ding"In one of the seat stays. Though hardly noticeable? & In no way effects the stay. It's well dangerous. It's a death trap. I'm 6 Foot 1 - 17 Stone. All the body weight & pressure goes down that frame from seat post down through the frame. 40 Mph down the bypass amongst traffic. What could go wrong. Me under a car that's what. & Foolishly & trustingly i left feedback whilst having T & chatting with my wife after the grandchildren had left. Next minute it's 23-00 hrs & I look at it properly before bed. Look what i find. Massive dent. Right rear seat stay. Bottom. Pictures attached."

The third pic he sent you shows the "damage" he's referring to on the seat stay. Here's a pic of another R700 for reference, showing identical "damage"

Fingers crossed he gets egg on his face. Hopefully the welder knows his bikes. Send a photo of another bike with the same dent.

You also need to circle that huge 4ā€ dent at the other end of the chain stay clearly visible, looks like it was definitely caused by an angry flying badger

also someoneā€™s definitely drilled a whacking great hole through the bottom of that frame I would send it back, I mean itā€™ll never float first day out on the lake

absolute clowns donā€™t know anything about catamarans, I am going to get onto my specialist diamond cutter tomorrow and get it assessed šŸ¤Ŗ

This stinks of somebody with a smooth brain trying to scam a seller. If he started a complaint through the proper channels he would not have had an immediate response from ebay saying it is defective. IME they ask for both sides to provide evidence and it can take a good few weeks to sort out. There is no immediate response or opinion from a human.
What you used to have to watch for was ebay taking the money back from you via PP while the investigation was ongoing. My big case saw thebest part of Ā£900 taken just 4 days before xmas!. A loud phonecall sorted that out, i was refunded immediately, and the idiot buyer lost a few days later, but it finished my selling days with ebay. Maybe that wild west activity has stopped now.
