Can you identify early 70s/80s Raleigh?

Thank you for the date bagpus, just before my first foray into proper cycling began with a Carlton Cobra......and not a suicide lever in sight :)

Back to the matter in hand.

"I reckon it might have been an International or a Professional. Of course you know the problems with relying on, and retreiving, memory."

he knows me so well.

Is he right? Green ?

Re:

Hmm . Just had a look at a 1960's Raleigh catalogue . Back then they built a couple of bikes that relly stand out. New old stock?
The first is the Record tour of Britain frame set which was available in racing green . This was a quality frame and sold as a frame set only or as
a complete machine which was available in 5/10 speed and called the Record.
The frames possibly came out of the Carlton worksop factory . I will e mail you a couple of pictures.

Re:

Have a trawl through these . Only 3000 pictures . I set up this group on flickr 10 years ago . I passed on the admin role some time ago.
