Yes it is. Thought it might look nice with the chrome forks. Ill probably plumb for the Svelto, cheap, cheerful and they always worked well.
 
Decided to use contrasting white ribbed outer cables. Try them out for size...

Ive been informed this may well be a Sun Snipe, making the frame earlier ie 60s as has been alluded to.

Yes, it looks more and more like it.

I need to get some decals for it so it has a name!

The earlier frame will suit suite the early 999 brakes then. Just need to find a stronglight single chainring now... or similar.
