Guys.....im wanting to swap my current chainset onto a new frame, however, this will mean swapping from 68mm to a 73mm square taper bb.
At present im running 68 x 107mm on a raceface prodigy crank. Problem is whilst the chainline is good (47.5 front / 44.5 rear) and the q is good, the issue is the non drive side arm is already only a nats from hitting the cup!
When i jump to 73mm bb, 107mm will have lost ( i assume ) 2.5mm each side and the crank wont go on. If i add the 5mm and go for 113mm its going to screw my chainline and the q .
The only thought ive had is to use 110mm.
Am i correct in thinking that on 110mm vs 107mm the additional distance is all added to the non drive side....ie 110s are asymmetric.....as opposed to symmetric 107mm.
