I have a problem as most of us here do !!! I've no room for any more bikes/projects but can't resist when something pops up fairly local :( :(

Picked this up few months back and plan was to strip/stabilise any rust/paint issues and clean all parts up and re-use what I could ..

Bike was used as a winter workhorse and boy it showed !!!

Paint really was bad and I'm a lover of original paint but the more I scraped/sanded it was obvious

So I stripped and had frame dipped/glass media blasted .. And pleasantly surprised as only issue was wee bit of pitting here and there :)

Getting frame fork re-painted and should get back soon ..

Here's pic as collected(rubbish pic) I should have taken some close ups it really was dog rough !!!

To save on sourcing even more parts and simplicity I fancy another fixed wheel build

Hi mate
Who's doing the paint for you? and what are you getting done?
Looking forward to seeing this progress.

Hi Jamie

Nothing flash just a single colour frame/fork(metallic green) with "Bob Jackson " on downtube nothing else .. Keep costs down and minimalist look

All the parts I'm putting back on are used and not mint but I've enough garage queens

It will be a good functional runabout I hope :D

So Shand are doing the paint Col? If so it should be stunning.
I'd be interested in what it's costing to do. PM me if you prefer.;)

I'm sure you will do it justice so looking forward to seeing the results.
