You're not wrong. Our cutoff date is. That's the RetroBike Conundrum, a 26" wheeled steel hardtail with v brakes and long stem is NOT retro because it is only 26 years old, not 27.

Yep, it's 1998 model so whilst made in 1997 it's not valid if my memory of the rules is correct.

Ok I've decided to enter this one.

That's a beautiful bike. I love the black crown on the fork, really stands out against the white frame. However, I feel the lack of pedals will hurt its standing in the contest

Vesatoro’s 1994 Kona Hahanna

I bet this is the smallest budget entry for the month, but I do not have any other Canadian to enter. Probably also the smallest bike at 14”. Bought this 1994 Kona Hahanna for my wife just a month ago. With all the bells and whistles for general use bike and for winter. It was practically unridden, just some scars from storage and transport from Finland to the Netherlands and back. The previous owner found it too small for her right from the start. No build thread exist, nor ever will. Just perfect for the purpose now… ok, maybe new tires.

Based on the evidence so far - Canada didn't bother making average bikes!! Personally, loving the DeKerfs and that Norco is awesome!

(Mind you that RM with the Bullmoose bars is nice... I'm a sucker for large flanges!)
